Scholarship opportunities are available to select transfer students who plan to enroll in the fall semester. To be considered for scholarships as a transfer student, you must first complete the admissions application. After completion of the admissions application please review the current available scholarships and follow the scholarship application steps. Although application processes for individual transfer scholarships are separate, we encourage students to apply for all available awards.
For scholarship purposes, Appalachian State University only considers students that plan on beginning their time at App in the fall semester with a minimum of 24 transferable credit hours. Students that have completed at least 12 credit hours may apply for the fall semester as early as the previous August. Students that will not have transferable credits until the end of the fall semester must wait until December to apply for the next fall semester.
