Transfer Students

We're committed to making App State affordable for all students. Scholarship opportunities are set aside exclusively for incoming transfer students who have shown previous academic success and involvement prior to their enrollment.

After you begin at App State you have opportunities to apply for departmental scholarships through your college or major.

Eligible incoming students who have completed their application for admission by February 1 will receive priority consideration for transfer student scholarship opportunities. A student’s completed application to App State serves as their scholarship application, and no additional information is required to apply for scholarships. Consideration will be for high achieving transfer students based on their transfer GPA and number of transfer credits submitted in their transfer application. Students who apply after February 1 will still be considered until all scholarships are awarded.

For more information on transferring to App State visit Transfer Admissions & Engagement.
