Appalachian Excellence Scholarships (AES) are awarded to top first-year students with a strong academic record.

You are automatically considered for this program if you meet the deadlines.

  • November 1, Submit the application for admission
  • November 15, Submit all application materials

(To be automatically considered for an Appalachian Excellence Scholarship, complete all required and recommended steps for admission to Appalachian by 11:59 p.m. eastern time.  The Signature Scholarships and Selective Academic Programs Application is not required to be considered for the ACCESS program or the Appalachian Excellence Scholarship.)
